Druce’s Hill House, Bradford-on-Avon

July 2020

With work back underway following the country lockdown, this job is starting to make progress again. Recently we have completed 1st fix M+E and Lime plastering and we are ready for tiling to bathrooms and kitchen floor and then 2nd fix and kitchen installation.

While renovating this unique place in Bradford on Avon, many old items have been found, including the discovery of a hidden safe. We will now use the safe as a time capsule to be found in years to come. Items we will place in the safe include a poem written by a 9-year-old child who lived at the property, a half penny, old photos, monopoly and playing cards.  We will also include a lockdown newspaper and a letter from Boris. More will be added as the job progresses.

January 2020

This project is to refurbish an existing Grade II listed building. We will be working closely with Bath Conservation Architects to ensure that the historic fabric of the building is maintained. Starting in December the works to the project are progressing well.  We are currently stripping out, 1st fix electrics and making repairs to the sash windows.
